AMED aims to create a society where healthy longevity is achieved until the age of 100 by 2040. To achieve this goal, we perform collaboration between medicine and engineering and accomplish evolutionary remote medicine which is accessible from any place.
This project will connect health care at home and patient care at hospital. Our current system allows us to obtain physiological parameters once per months at hospitals, but this project will enable us to monitor physiological parameters continuously at home. Our project will open the new avenue to novel health and patient care and achieve the society with healthy longevity by controlling chronic inflammation of life-style diseases.
